1. Tasbeeh (Glorifying Allah)
- Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azeem
(Glory is to Allah, and all praise is to Him. Glory is to Allah, the Greatest.)
- Subhan-Allahi wa Alhamdulillahi wa La ilaha illallahu Wallahu Akbar
(Glory is to Allah, all praise is to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.)
2. Seeking Forgiveness
- Astaghfirullah Rabbi min kulli dhambin wa atubu ilayh
(I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, for all my sins, and I turn to Him in repentance.)
3. Declaring the Oneness of Allah
- La ilaha illallahu Wahdahu la sharika lah, Lahul-Mulku wa Lahul-Hamdu wa Huwa 'ala kulli shay’in Qadeer
(There is no god but Allah, He is One, without partner. To Him belongs the dominion and praise, and He has power over all things.)
4. Praising Allah
- Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, Bi Rahmatika Astagheeth
(O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, by Your mercy, I seek help.)
- Allahumma laka al-hamdu anta noor-us-samawati wal-ardh wa man feehinna
(O Allah, to You belongs all praise. You are the light of the heavens and the earth and all that is within them.)
5. Sending Blessings on the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
- Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammadin kama sallayta 'ala Ibrahima wa 'ala ali Ibrahima innaka Hamidun Majid.
(O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad and his family, as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and his family. You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.)
- Allahumma barik 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammadin kama barakta 'ala Ibrahima wa 'ala ali Ibrahima innaka Hamidun Majid.
(O Allah, bless Muhammad and his family, as You blessed Ibrahim and his family. You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.)
6. Tasbeeh-e-Isra
Reflecting on the miraculous journey of the Prophet (PBUH), you can recite the following:
- Subhanalladhi Asra bi'abdihi laylan minal-masjidil-harami ilal-masjidil-aqsa alladhi barakna hawlahu linuriyahu min ayatina innahu huwa as-samee'ul-baseer.
(Glory be to Him Who took His servant by night from Al-Masjid Al-Haram to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.)
(Surah Al-Isra: 1)
7. Dhikr of Tawhid (Oneness of Allah)
- La hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil-Aliyyil-Azeem
(There is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.)
- Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa Huwa, 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-'Arshil-'Azeem
(Allah is sufficient for me; there is no deity except Him. In Him, I have placed my trust, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.)
These dhikr will not only bring you closer to Allah but also reflect the essence of Shab-e-Miraj, which is about submission, gratitude, and remembrance of Allah's greatness.
